Grid Finder secures £100k seed investment from Creative UK to expand its development and marketing teams.

Creative UK provided the capital through the North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme.

Grid Finder operates an online platform that connects gaming communities and assists with race management, tournament organisation and driver recruitment. The Newcastle upon Tyne firm also provides a marketplace for virtual racing services, coaching and vehicle liveries.

Grid Finder has secured £100k in seed investment from Creative UK through the North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme. The funding follows earlier capital raising efforts and has helped unlock additional match funding and soft commitments towards a larger financing milestone. The company will use the proceeds to expand its software development and marketing operations.

The early-stage esports venture has experienced notable demand for its online racing tools since its inception during the pandemic. Creative UK noted the firm has demonstrated strong initial traction within the virtual motorsport sector.
