GoHenry raises £50m in growth capital from Edison Partners, Revaia, and Nexi to expand across Europe
The funding round was backed by existing investors alongside new participant Nexi, with proceeds earmarked for international expansion and product development.
GoHenry operates a prepaid debit card and financial education application designed for children and teenagers. The platform provides interactive money management tools supported by parental oversight.
GoHenry has secured £50m in growth capital from Edison Partners, Revaia, and Italian paytech Nexi. The fresh funding follows the acquisition of French teen banking leader Pixpay and will be used to expand the company's footprint across Europe and develop new product features. The round also sees Nexi take a seat on the board of directors.
The investment highlights the platform's commercial growth through the pandemic and its efforts to promote financial literacy among families in a cashless society. Existing backers Edison Partners and Revaia participated alongside the incoming strategic investor, supporting the company's continued international scaling.
From the founder
"Under the current market conditions, to have attracted investment from a leading PLC like Nexi is testament to the robust business we have built at GoHenry since we launched 10 years ago. As digital payments become the norm, more families are looking for solutions to help their kids and teens interact with and understand how to manage money in a cashless world. We’re delighted to welcome Nexi to our board and to have strengthened our relationship with Edison and Revaia with this raise as we collectively continue to transform financial education for kids and teens across the globe."
