Glassette raises £1.2m in seed funding led by Nigel Wray to fuel international expansion.
The seed round was led by Nigel Wray and a consortium of angels to drive growth into overseas markets.
Glassette is an online marketplace curating homeware and design objects from independent British brands. Founded in late 2021, the platform showcases bespoke and thoughtfully selected items for the home.
Glassette has secured £1.2m in a seed funding round led by Nigel Wray alongside a group of angel investors. The capital will be deployed to expand into international markets, particularly the US, and recruit personnel for the core team.
The interiors platform launched in November 2021 and features over 150 independent brands. Following the raise, the company is valued at £8m as it looks to scale its digital marketplace globally.
