Gigged.AI secures £1m from Par Equity and Scottish Enterprise to expand enterprise reach
The funding round includes backing from prominent angel investors and will support growth in the UK and US markets.
Gigged.AI provides an AI-powered talent platform designed to help enterprise technology leaders manage internal employees, contingent workers and AI agents. Headquartered in Glasgow, the company addresses growing skills shortages through its intelligent matching capabilities.
Glasgow-based workforce platform Gigged.AI has secured £1m in funding, combining grant support, equity investment and venture debt. The capital arrives from Par Equity and Scottish Enterprise, alongside prominent business figures including former Skyscanner executives Shane Corstorphine and Richard Lennox, and Alteryx CEO Andy MacMillan. The fresh financing coincides with the firm's fourth anniversary and will be deployed to scale its enterprise customer base across the UK and the US.
The company's platform integrates internal employees, external contractors and pre-built AI agents to give technology leaders visibility over available skills. This funding follows recent momentum that includes joining the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and preparing to launch a new agentic AI feature named Sia. With enterprise clients already on its roster, the business aims to capture further market share amid widespread industry concerns regarding technical talent shortages.
