Galytix secures seed investment from angel investors to fund expansion
The artificial intelligence data analytics business has secured an undisclosed amount of post-angel equity to expand its team and develop new products.
Galytix operates an artificial intelligence platform that processes unstructured and structured data for the insurance and reinsurance sectors. The firm provides analytics tools across the data value chain to assist clients with operational decisions.
Galytix has secured an undisclosed seed investment from angel backers to fund its next stage of development. The firm plans to direct the proceeds towards team expansion and product development across new market segments.
The financing brings new industry expertise to the business, with several participants taking on formal governance and advisory positions. Massimo Arnoldi and Marc Nourse have joined the board of directors, while Keith O'Donnell and Ravi Venisetti have taken up advisory roles.
The transaction was supported by professional advisors including PwC and Temple Bright.
