The Sheffield-based industrial IoT startup has raised £1m from backers including North Invest and SFC Capital.
FourJaw develops a machine agnostic data analytics platform designed to help manufacturers improve shop floor productivity.
FourJaw has secured £1m in early-stage funding to accelerate growth and support manufacturers across the UK. The round was backed by North Invest, SFC Capital, and Innovate UK.
Founded in 2020 by research engineers from the University of Sheffield, the company provides an industrial internet of things platform that collects and analyses machine data to improve operational efficiency. The software operates across both legacy and modern machinery, offering teams accessible insights via cloud-connected tablets.
The capital will be deployed to expand the team and advance the company product roadmap, supporting precision engineering firms seeking to boost productivity.
From the founder
"It elegantly sidesteps the costly and invasive big-ticket alternatives, to deliver the right information at the right time, securely from the cloud. A tablet gives staff operatives and managers easy-to-digest data that is driving big improvements in productivity, thus securing UK jobs and international markets against fierce global competition,"
Bart Simpson
Chairman at FourJaw
Investor perspective
"We knew FourJaw had created a game-changing technology that would break through the sector’s scepticism surrounding Industry 4.0. Their data-driven technology is right for its time, helping drive a manufacturing renaissance for post-Brexit, post-COVID Britain where productivity and competitiveness are essential to the economy,"
