Fotenix builds AI-powered agricultural diagnostics platforms that generate three-dimensional digital crop models for early disease detection. The Greater Manchester enterprise combines multi-spectral imaging and robotics to help farmers protect yields and reduce pesticide dependency.

Fotenix has secured £2.1m in funding led by River Capital, alongside investment from EHE Ventures and an Innovate UK grant. The Greater Manchester startup applies artificial intelligence and multi-spectral imaging to detect crop diseases before visual symptoms appear.

The fresh capital will be directed towards team expansion, scaling deployments across British farms, and advancing the company diagnostics platform. Fotenix currently works with agricultural clients including GrowUp, Agrii, and Bayer.
