Forefront RF secures £6.7m from BGF and existing investors to scale radio frequency technology

Cambridge based fabless semiconductor specialist Forefront RF has secured £6.7m in a funding round led by BGF, with additional participation from existing backers Science Creates Ventures and Foresight Group. The capital injection will be deployed to support the enterprise as it addresses global market dynamics and advances its radio frequency technology offerings.
The business commercialises research originating from the University of Bristol, providing adaptive passive cancellation systems that enable connected hardware to function smoothly across diverse mobile telephony bands. Alongside the fundraising announcement, Forefront RF is launching a tunable duplexer demonstrator targeted at specific frequency ranges to showcase its technology for modern cellular standards.
