£28.5MSeries B

Florence provides a digital platform connecting care professionals with open shifts and workforce management tools. The company operates across the United Kingdom to support social care organisations.

Florence has secured £28.5m in a Series B funding round led by Axa Venture Partners, with participation from Roo Capital and existing investor SEEK Investments. The company intends to direct the capital towards product development, international expansion, and scaling its services beyond elderly care.

The raise follows a period of rapid growth for the platform, which now serves over a quarter of the social care market in the UK. Florence offers a mobile application that allows nurses and care workers to source shifts directly, bypassing traditional employment agencies while providing care providers with rota and training tools.

From the founder

"With this additional funding we can continue to develop our services, while offering the opportunity for more nurses and care providers to join us as we continue on our journey to make care outstanding."
