Florence provides a digital platform connecting care professionals with open shifts and workforce management tools. The company operates across the United Kingdom to support social care organisations.

Florence has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by SEEK, with participation from existing backers Waverly Capital and Rianta Capital alongside early stage angel investors. The fresh capital brings the total amount raised by the recruitment marketplace to £7m.

The company will direct the proceeds toward expanding its user base of nurses and carers, alongside developing new digital tools and native applications that incorporate mandatory training and revalidation features.

Chief executive Charles Armitage stated that the investment responds directly to sector demands for efficient workforce coordination, helping alleviate staffing pressures across the British social care industry.
