The Manchester based fintech secured the capital from backers including scout funds from a16z, Atomico, and Ada Ventures.
Firenze operates a Lombard lending platform that enables wealth managers and investment platforms to offer asset backed credit solutions. The firm provides embedded finance infrastructure to facilitate liquidity access for investors.
Firenze has secured £750k in a pre-seed angel round from a broad group of prominent backers, including scout funds from major venture capital firms and notable fintech operators. The Manchester based fintech will direct the capital towards team expansion and onboarding its initial cohort of wealth managers and platforms.
The oversubscribed funding round values the company at £3.8m and represents one of the largest pre-seed raises outside London in recent months. The business seeks to democratise access to Lombard lending, a facility traditionally reserved for private bank clients with significant investment portfolios.
