Fertility Focus manufactures fertility monitoring products designed to assist women experiencing difficulties conceiving. The company produces the OvuSense platform and OvuSense Pro clinical portal.
Fertility Focus has secured £1.3m in growth capital from Foresight Group as part of a wider £2m funding round. The investment will support sales and marketing expansion alongside clinical trials for the company's flagship OvuSense fertility monitor. Private high net worth individuals also participated in the financing alongside existing backers.
Established in 2005, the company commercialises intellectual property originating from Bristol University. Its core technology combines a continuous core body temperature sensor with a smartphone application to assist women with irregular cycles and conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome.
