The round was led by MAHR Projects, Richard Pennycook CBE, and Tim Score to fuel platform expansion and virtual event growth.
Feast It operates an online marketplace connecting event organisers with independent suppliers across the UK. The platform provides digital tools to simplify planning for events of all scales.
Event booking marketplace Feast It has secured £1.7m in a seed follow on funding round led by MAHR Projects, Richard Pennycook CBE, and Tim Score. The fresh capital will be used to support the platform's expansion from catering technology into comprehensive event planning, alongside further development of its virtual events offering.
The company experienced rapid growth in its virtual events division during late 2020, booking major corporate clients within its initial weeks of operation. Alongside virtual offerings, Feast It has broadened its supplier network for in-person celebrations, positioning itself to capture anticipated demand as restrictions ease.
From the founder
"There was a big shift in people’s attitudes towards virtual events in the latter half of 2020, as people realised that interactive activities such as cooking classes, escape rooms or cocktail making lessons can be engaging and great fun. As we go into another lockdown and the continuation of remote working, virtual events are here to stay and we’re going to make sure the very best experiences are available on Feast It."

Investor perspective
"The events industry has been hit hard by the pandemic, but that means that there will be giant opportunities for growth on the other side. This market is one that will come back strong as soon as it’s able to, and Feast It will be the lifeblood that supports that."
