Glasgow-based technology firm Exizent has secured £3.6m in seed funding to develop its platform for managing the bereavement process. The round was led by global platform-as-a-service provider FNZ.
The capital will support the company as it prepares to launch its software for legal services professionals later this year. The platform aims to connect institutions, executors and legal firms to simplify probate applications and asset discovery.
Exizent was established by former financial services executives Nick Cousins and Aleks Tomczyk. The business has spent the past 18 months designing and testing its product with industry partners.
