Evonetix raises £20m in a Series B round led by Foresite Capital to scale DNA synthesis chips.

The oversubscribed round included backing from Molten Ventures, Morningside, DCVC, Cambridge Consultants, Civilization Ventures and Providence.

Evonetix develops semiconductor technology applied to DNA synthesis, offering a benchtop platform for accurate gene assembly. The firm uses a silicon chip to control synthesis across thousands of reaction sites.

Evonetix has secured £20m in a Series B extension round led by Foresite Capital. The financing included participation from several existing backers as the firm prepares to scale its semiconductor chip technology commercially. The capital will support the development of benchtop gene synthesis instrumentation and the expansion of binary assembly capabilities.
