Erase All Kittens has secured £720k in a seed funding round led by Twinkl Educational Publishing. The raise also saw participation from Christian Reyntjens of A Black Square and angel investors including a founder of Shazam.

The capital will be directed towards developing a gamified version of the platform that teaches HTML, CSS and Javascript to children aged 8 to 12. The updated product is scheduled for launch in July for parents and schools globally.

The company has experienced significant growth, with its free game adopted in over 3,000 schools and reaching 160,000 players globally. Research from the firm indicates strong engagement among female players.
