eola secures £2m in seed investment led by Pentech Ventures
The company raised the capital to expand its technology, team, and commercial footprint.
eola provides an operating system that automates bookings, payments, and scheduling for experience and activity providers. The platform helps businesses manage operations and increase revenue.
eola has secured £2m in seed funding led by Pentech Ventures, with backing from Techstars and various travel and technology leaders. The capital will support the company as it expands its technology offerings, grows its team, and scales its commercial presence.
The business experienced significant momentum through 2020, multiplying its customer base and growing fivefold despite pandemic restrictions. With domestic travel and outdoor activities seeing a surge in demand, eola plans to accelerate its expansion across the leisure and experience sector.
CEO Callum Hemsley noted the resilience of the team and partners through a challenging trading period, while Pentech Ventures partner Sandy McKinnon highlighted the platform's utility for operators navigating the market.
