Medical technology business Entia has secured £8.8m in a Series A follow on funding round led by BGF, with participation from existing seed investors Parkwalk and Sussex Place Ventures. The fresh capital will be deployed to launch the company's virtual oncology solution, Entia Liberty, allowing patients to conduct blood tests from home and helping healthcare teams monitor treatment side effects. The raise follows earlier funding secured by the company earlier in the year, bringing total backing from investors including Innovate UK.
