Emitwise has secured £2.3m in a seed follow on investment round led by ArcTern Ventures. The capital injection brings the firm total seed funding raised over the past year to £4.8m. Additional backing in the latest raise came from high profile angel investors, including Schroders chief executive Peter Harrison and Magnus Rausing, alongside Saltwater. The company plans to use the fresh funds to expand its team of carbon accountancy experts and support growing corporate demand for climate disclosure tools.
