Financial technology firm Ember has secured £5m in funding to expand its embedded tax and accounting platform across other major banks in the UK. The investment round was led jointly by Valar Ventures, Viola Fintech, and Shapers.
The fresh capital follows the company's collaboration with HSBC UK to embed tax tools directly into the bank's digital interface. With regulatory changes approaching under HMRC, the business intends to use the backing to scale its infrastructure and partner with additional financial institutions.
