ElevenLabs raises $2m in pre-seed funding to expand its voice intelligence platform
The round was led by Credo Ventures with backing from Concept Ventures and angel investors.
ElevenLabs develops advanced artificial intelligence voice and audio tools used globally for tasks such as text generation, voice cloning, and dubbing.
ElevenLabs has secured $2m in pre-seed funding to launch its text-to-speech platform and advance its research in automated dubbing. The round was led by Prague-based Credo Ventures, with participation from Concept Ventures and angel investors Peter Czaban and Tytus Cytowski.
Founded in 2022 by former Google and Palantir personnel, the company focuses on voice intelligence and deep learning models that generate human-like speech across multiple languages. The new capital will be directed towards product development and expanding its speech synthesis capabilities.
The investment arrives amid heightened industry interest in generative artificial intelligence. ElevenLabs aims to make written content accessible through audio and enable seamless media translation while preserving original vocal characteristics.
