Elaniti secures funding from biotope, Planetary Impact Ventures, and PINC to advance soil microbiome intelligence.
The agritech startup closed a round backed by biotope, Planetary Impact Ventures, and PINC to accelerate its digital tool development.
Elaniti is an agritech startup that develops digital decision support tools for agribusinesses by decoding soil microbiomes using DNA sequencing and artificial intelligence. The firm aims to help farmers optimise crop productivity and support regenerative agriculture.
London based agritech startup Elaniti has secured new funding to accelerate the development of its digital decision support tools for agribusinesses. The round included participation from biotope, Planetary Impact Ventures, and PINC, following previous non-dilutive support from Innovate UK. The fresh capital will be directed towards strengthening the company team and expanding research efforts to support the launch of its predictive analytics platform.
The company uses DNA sequencing and machine learning to analyse soil biological activity, aiming to help farmers improve crop performance and build resilient soils. This recent injection of capital marks a key step in Elaniti as it scales its operations and forms new partnerships across the agricultural sector.
From the founder
"Soil is the foundation of our food system, but modern agriculture has strained its health. The soil microbiome holds the key to restoring fertility, resilience, and reducing reliance on synthetic inputs. By unlocking its potential, we can help farmers produce food sustainably while regenerating the land for future generations."
