London climate fintech ekko has secured £2m in seed funding led by Fuel Ventures, with backing from Sorven, Mishcon de Reya, and existing investors. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development and support international expansion as the firm scales its sustainability platform for banks and payment providers.

The raise follows a series of commercial milestones for the business, including partnerships with Volt, Primis, Stubben Edge, Akoni Hub, and BLME. ekko intends to use the funds to broaden its market reach and drive ongoing innovation across its technology offerings.

Fuel Ventures joins the register as lead investor, highlighting increasing market demand for scalable climate technology solutions within financial services.
