Notion Capital led the seed investment, which will accelerate product development.

£3.3MSeed

Easol operates an experience commerce platform that enables creators and businesses to manage bookings, payments, and websites. The company serves clients across more than 130 countries.

London-based Easol has raised £3.3m in a seed funding round led by Notion Capital. The round also drew participation from Y Combinator, Foundation Capital, Slow Ventures, and angel investor Micheal Zeisser. The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate product development as consumer demand for experiences rebounds.

The company was founded to solve the fragmentation of tools faced by experience creators, who traditionally relied on multiple third-party services. Alongside the funding, Easol announced the appointment of Lee-Jon Ball as chief technology officer. The business reports strong growth, driven by increasing post-vaccination booking volumes and consistent month-on-month creator additions.

Investor perspective

"We believe the Easol team has developed an incredible solution which has become the go-to platform for the world’s best experience creators who are passionate about the experience they deliver every day and not just selling things. Ben’s and Lisa’s deep domain expertise has already translated into rapid commercial growth with high demand that this round will support with more resources in product, marketing, sales and increasing the company’s global footprint. It’s rare for a company at their stage to have such strong signs of product-market fit. In fact, their SaaS metrics are some of the best we’ve ever seen."
