London-based education platform Dorm has raised £750k in a seed follow-on investment round led by RLC Ventures. The funding will support the launch of the company platform, which provides educational content for influencers and entrepreneurs in the passion economy.
The start-up was founded by former Sweatcoin executives Ranbir Arora and Taras Polischuk. The newly secured capital follows backing from various prominent venture funds across Europe and Silicon Valley, including Plug and Play Ventures and Playfair Capital.
The platform combines insights from digital creators and business leaders to instruct students on launching independent careers. Dorm also plans to introduce a premium tier early next year to allow instructors to establish their own dedicated schools.
