Donr raises £350k in seed follow-on funding from Northstar Ventures and Andrew Robson to develop new products
The funding round was backed by Northstar Ventures and angel investor Andrew Robson to support product development.
Donr provides a text donation platform that enables UK charities to secure mobile contributions from supporters. The firm has expanded its reach across the charitable sector, helping thousands of organisations process vital funds.
Newcastle-based giving platform Donr has secured £350k in a seed follow-on funding round. The investment was provided by returning backer Northstar Ventures and angel investor Andrew Robson.
The capital will be directed towards product development as the company continues to scale its operations. This latest injection follows an earlier £300k investment from Northstar in 2019.
The fundraising comes as the platform experiences heightened demand amid the coronavirus crisis, helping charities pivot towards digital fundraising methods.
