Delta.g raises £4.6m in a seed round led by Serendipity Capital to advance its quantum sensing platform.
Serendipity Capital led the round with participation from NSSIF and SCVC.
Delta.g is a quantum technology company that develops gravity sensing platforms to provide spatial intelligence for infrastructure, discovery, and navigation. Spun out of the University of Birmingham, the company builds quantum sensors designed to operate in real-world conditions.
Delta.g has secured £4.6m in a seed round led by Serendipity Capital, with additional backing from NSSIF and existing investor SCVC. The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate the development and commercialisation of the company's gravity sensing technology through pilot deployments with industry and government partners.
The funding highlights growing commercial interest in quantum sensing as a practical tool for subsurface imaging and navigation. Delta.g's technology was originally developed at the UK Quantum Technology Hub for Sensors and Timing before spinning out of the University of Birmingham.
