Deep Planet secures £680k seed investment from Oxford Innovation Finance and OION Angel Network to scale its agricultural technology.
The funding round was co-led by Oxford Innovation Finance and the OION Angel Network to support international growth and product development.
Deep Planet is an agri-tech start-up that applies artificial intelligence and satellite imagery to help winemakers monitor and manage vineyard health. Its platform assists growers with yield prediction, harvest timing, and soil management.
Deep Planet has secured £680k in a seed investment round led by Oxford Innovation Finance and the OION Angel Network. The capital will enable the agri-tech start-up to scale its artificial intelligence technology across international markets, including France, the US, Spain, Italy, and South America.
In addition to international expansion, the funds will support the further development of the company's SoilSignal service. This initiative is designed to help farmers and businesses measure and verify the impact of regenerative farming practices.
