Dealstack provides a specialised operating platform designed to automate workflows and integrate artificial intelligence into private capital operations.

Dealstack has secured $5.5m in a seed funding round backed by professionals from major financial and legal institutions. The company provides an operating platform that automates administrative tasks and integrates artificial intelligence for private equity firms. With the fresh capital, Dealstack intends to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams.

Founded by former Kirkland & Ellis partner Joel Arnell and former Oaktree Capital investor Seb Lapinski, the company addresses inefficiencies in deal administration and contract management. The platform currently supports numerous prominent private equity firms and legal practices globally.

From the founder

"Private equity is full of brilliant people working with ancient tools. We built Dealstack because highly qualified professionals shouldn’t be stuck copying and pasting data from spreadsheets to PDFs when AI and automated workflows can do that for them."
