Damisa raises £2.3m in pre-seed funding led by Fuel Ventures to scale its stablecoin payments platform.
The oversubscribed round was led by Fuel Ventures with participation from EWOR, Greyhound Capital, and Mark Ransford.
Damisa is a next-generation payments platform that streamlines cross-border transactions and escrow services using stablecoins. The business focuses on modernising financial movements across sectors such as logistics, real estate, travel, and education.
Damisa has secured £2.3m in a pre-seed funding round led by Fuel Ventures. The oversubscribed raise included participation from EWOR, Greyhound Capital, and Mark Ransford, alongside strategic backing from the company's inaugural customer.
The fresh capital will be directed towards accelerating the firm's go-to-market strategy, scaling operational infrastructure, securing regulatory licences, and enhancing technological capabilities. The platform is scheduled to facilitate its first transactions this month, with a broader public launch planned for July.
Led by industry veterans including CEO Jordan Lawrence, Maximillian Marenbach, and Panos Dandolas, Damisa aims to eliminate friction in international payments. The company currently holds a VASP registration in Poland and expects to obtain an AFSL in Australia by the end of the second quarter of 2025.
