Cynomi secures £2.6m in seed funding led by Flint Capital for expansion
Flint Capital led the seed round as Cynomi prepares to scale its research and development operations.
Cynomi provides a virtual chief information security officer platform designed for service providers and small to medium-sized enterprises. The firm uses artificial intelligence to automate risk assessments and security policies.
Cynomi has secured £2.6m in seed funding to support its ongoing development and international expansion. Flint Capital led the round, with participation from SeedIL, Lytical Ventures, and a roster of business angels. The capital will be deployed to accelerate research and development initiatives alongside scaling commercial operations in key overseas territories.
The business provides automated cybersecurity tooling tailored for managed service providers operating within the mid-market segment. By emulating human security leadership, the platform aims to bridge resource gaps for smaller organisations facing sophisticated threats.
