Cycle.land raises £203k through a Seedrs crowdfunding campaign to expand urban mobility across Europe.
The company surpassed its £100k target with support from hundreds of backers.
Cycle.land operates a bike sharing marketplace that unlocks unused bicycles, and it is expanding into broader urban mobility services.
Cycle.land has secured £203.6k through its second equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs, surpassing its initial £100k target with backing from 349 investors across 28 countries.
The capital will support the business as it diversifies revenue streams beyond peer-to-peer rentals and expands its services. Specifically, the proceeds will fund the launch of an urban mobility platform across Europe in partnership with Youon.
The joint venture will introduce bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters to major European cities including London, Paris and Berlin starting in March 2019.
