London verification platform CV Wallet has secured £400k in an angel funding round. The oversubscribed capital was raised from existing investors and completed within 48 hours.
The raise follows strong revenue growth and the March launch of the company commercial products, which include a SaaS verification platform and an advertising exchange. Proceeds from the financing will be deployed to accelerate recruitment plans as the business scales up.
Co-founders Richard and Beverly Collins noted that the modest raise enables the firm to comfortably expand its team while moving towards profitability, drawing on continued backing from shareholders who previously supported their venture ClickIQ.
