CupClub raises £200k in seed funding to expand operations and manufacturing.

CupClub secures £200k from investors to grow its team and scale operations.

£200KSeed

CupClub provides a returnable packaging service for hot and cold drinks designed to reduce single use plastics across offices and campuses.

CupClub has raised £200k in a seed round from backers including a Henley Business Angels member, R/GA Ventures, a Credit Suisse Director, and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

The returnable packaging service aims to reduce single use plastics across offices, universities, and closed campuses. The company plans to use the capital to expand its operations team and invest in tooling to lower manufacturing costs.

The funding will support deployments for major real estate clients such as Cushman and Wakefield across the UK.

From the founder

"We plan to use these funds to build our operations team to deploy for our first major real estate client, Cushman and Wakefield, and other client sites across the UK; we aim to bring down our current manufacturing costs by x10 through new investment in tooling. There is tremendous appetite for our service, which eliminates single use plastics, increases CO2 efficiency and reduces waste for client sites."
