Cumulus Oncology secures £9m in seed financing from Eos Advisory and the Scottish National Investment Bank

Cumulus Oncology operates Europe's first oncology biotech creation business model, designing spin-out companies to develop novel cancer treatments. The firm employs specialised portfolio strategies and advanced decision-making platforms to de-risk early-stage therapeutics.
Cumulus Oncology has secured £9m in a seed financing round led by existing investor Eos Advisory, with participation from the Scottish National Investment Bank. The proceeds will be directed towards supporting the company's growth strategy, expanding its portfolio, and accelerating early-stage cancer treatments towards clinical proof of concept.
Headquartered in Edinburgh, Cumulus operates a hub and spoke model to create high-value spin-out enterprises focused on novel areas of cancer biology. The company intends to utilise the fresh capital to further de-risk its scientific programmes and advance upcoming data milestones for its existing portfolio entities, including Nodus Oncology.
The latest financing underscores continued investor confidence in the firm's approach, which combines molecularly selected patient subgroups with artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms. Eos Advisory has maintained its backing of the business since its inception, while the Scottish National Investment Bank joins as a new corporate investor.
