CultureAI raises £7.7m Series A funding from Mercia Ventures and Smedvig Ventures to drive product and market expansion

CultureAI develops a human risk management platform that helps organisations monitor, reduce and fix workforce cyber security vulnerabilities. The company serves a range of high profile clients across various sectors.
CultureAI has secured £7.7m in a Series A funding round jointly led by Mercia Ventures and Smedvig Ventures. Existing backers Passion Capital and Senovo also participated in the financing.
The capital will be directed towards accelerating product evolution and expanding the team across all departments, with plans to double headcount over the coming year. The company also aims to scale its presence in the United States market as demand for human risk management solutions grows.
Founded to address the persistence of human error in data breaches, CultureAI offers data-driven software that monitors security risks and automates remediation. The fresh injection follows previous seed funding rounds in 2021 and 2023.
