Crowdfunder has raised £500k in an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, hitting its target in just over three hours with backing from over 200 investors.
The raise included £150k from innovation charity Nesta as the initial pledge. The platform intends to use its strong market position to capitalise on the growing popularity of crowdfunding.
The campaign sets a new record on Crowdcube for the fastest equity crowdfunding raise to date.
