£1.0MSeed

Credentially provides software that automates healthcare hiring, onboarding, and compliance processes. The platform helps streamline registration for healthcare providers.

Credentially has secured £1m in a seed funding round led by Pembroke VCT. The capital will be directed towards scaling the company's product in the UK, developing its sales and marketing functions, and expanding its technology team. Credentially previously assisted the NHS during the pandemic by accelerating the verification of healthcare professionals.

The company was established in 2016 by a former A&E doctor and a software engineer to address administrative bottlenecks in medical recruitment. With this new backing, the firm aims to build out its operational capacity and drive digital adoption across health services.

From the founder

"Credentially was launched with the mission to save millions of hours across healthcare by automating processes for workers and providers. Our partnership with Pembroke VCT will facilitate expansion in the UK and will be crucial in allowing us to deliver on this mission."
