Creator Fund is a university-focused venture capital firm that supports student-led startups across European campuses. The company uses a network of student investors to unearth early-stage innovation.
Creator Fund has closed a £1.5m fund to back student founders across 25 UK campuses. The round features backing from Founders Factory and Schmidt Futures. The capital will enable the firm to increase investment sizes into student startups up to £150k and support 20 ventures over the next two years.
Launched in February 2020, the firm has expanded its footprint and trained student investors across universities in the UK, France, and Sweden. The fresh injection of capital will further its mission to uncover technology talent outside major venture capital hubs and help build a cross-campus talent platform.
