Collegia operates a mobile application providing combined auto-enrolment and personal pension services in the UK. The platform aims to offer a portable pension solution for workers and employers.

Collegia has secured £500k in a seed funding round from an international group of angel investors ahead of its June launch. The company drew backing from participants located in Hong Kong, Italy, Dubai, Brazil, and the UK.

The capital will be directed towards supporting the firm's domestic market launch and further developing its pension technology. The platform targets the UK auto-enrolment and personal pensions sector, which serves millions of workers and employers.

From the founder

"Worth almost $100 billion annually, the UK Auto-Enrolment market serves more than 10 million employees and 1.6 million businesses. But the products on offer to employees and employers alike are unfit for purpose, with an almost complete lack of innovation. Millions of employees have no access to an APP and the industry is still debating how to produce a better ‘annual’ statement."
