Falmouth-based interactive streaming startup Codices has raised £700k in seed funding to expand its live show formats and software. The round was co-led by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Investment Fund and Haatch Ventures.
Founded in 2018, the company provides tools that allow broadcasters and brands to build and monetise audience engagement. Its flagship Quiz Kit extension is widely used on Twitch for trivia hosting.
Codices will use the capital to roll out new interactive formats over the coming year and forge partnerships with brands and IP holders.
