Codices Interactive has secured £730k in a seed funding round led by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Investment Fund and Haatch Ventures. The capital will support the company as it develops new interactive formats and expands its presence in the live streaming market. The Falmouth based business has previously collaborated with major platforms including Amazon, Twitch and Jagex.
The startup experienced significant demand for its technology during the first half of the year, with over a million players engaging with its Twitch Extension Quiz Kit in June alone. The team includes industry alumni from prominent quiz shows, positioning the company to offer both pre-written shows and custom tools for content creators worldwide.
