Cloudbooking secures growth funding from Caple to scale its workplace management platform

Caple has backed London-based Cloudbooking with growth financing to support its international expansion.

Cloudbooking provides workspace management software that allows organisations to book desks, rooms, and visitors while integrating with various communication and mapping tools. The company operates on a software-as-a-service model and serves major corporate clients globally.

Cloudbooking has secured growth funding from Caple to support its international expansion and scale its workplace management platform. The investment will help the company meet rising demand for hybrid working solutions following the coronavirus pandemic.

Working alongside partner firm MV Advisory, Caple provided the financing facility to allow Cloudbooking to pursue its long-term strategy without diluting existing equity. The capital arrives as organisations increasingly turn to technology to manage office occupancy and workplace efficiencies.

Cloudbooking provides software that integrates with corporate infrastructure such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom to handle desk and room bookings. The firm counts major entities like Lloyds Banking Group, Airbus, and the NHS among its clients.

Investor perspective

"Gerry and the team at Cloudbooking have built a terrific business, meeting the needs of long-held client relationships. Through their pivotal role during the Covid-19 pandemic to bring the workforce back to the office, both in the UK and globally, Cloudbooking has demonstrated its continuous value to businesses, large and small. This finance facility will fund further growth, without the current shareholders having to give away a large equity stake or control of the business, which they have worked so hard to build. Cloudbooking will continue to go from strength to strength. I wish them every success and am very pleased to assist them on their journey."
