The financing round was backed by IQ Capital, Longwall Venture Partners, Martlet, and Cambridge Angels.
Closed Loop Medicine develops single prescription drug and digital therapy combination products designed to improve patient outcomes through precision dosing. The company maintains clinical programmes targeting conditions such as insomnia and hypertension.
Closed Loop Medicine has secured £2.1m in a seed financing round led by IQ Capital, Longwall Venture Partners, and Martlet. The funding will support the development of integrated drug and digital solutions aimed at treating major health conditions, starting with sleep disturbance and hypertension, alongside expanding clinical trials and technical product development.
The Cambridge-based therapeutics company has emerged from stealth mode to advance its personalised treatment regimens for the NHS and international healthcare providers. Additional backing for the round came from several prominent angel investors, including Sherry Coutu CBE.
The capital injection follows earlier support from Longwall Venture Partners and Cambridge Angels, marking a key milestone as the company scales its operations and builds out its senior management and technical teams.
