Clim8 Invest secures £2.4m in seed follow-on funding via Crowdcube to expand its sustainable investment platform
The funding round was backed by venture funds including 7percent Ventures alongside nearly two thousand retail investors.
Clim8 Invest operates a sustainable investing application that channels capital into publicly listed companies and green funds focused on tackling the climate crisis. The platform directs retail investments towards core themes including clean energy, smart mobility, and sustainable food.
Clim8 Invest has secured £2.4m in a seed follow-on funding round, surpassing its initial target by six hundred per cent. The capital was raised from venture funds, cleantech experts, and nearly two thousand retail investors via the Crowdcube platform.
Participants in the round include 7percent Ventures, Basil Capital, Evergreen Fund, and EcoSummit Ventures, alongside former partners of McKinsey. This latest injection brings the company's total funds raised to £4.4m following a previous £2m round.
The business is using the proceeds as it begins the public rollout of its digital investment platform to an existing waitlist of twelve thousand users. The service seeks to channel capital into clean energy and sustainable enterprises.
