Clementine secures £1m from Fortunis Capital to expand its digital wellbeing platform.
Fortunis Capital backed the female-led mental wellbeing app to accelerate its growth and service expansion.
Clementine provides virtual professional hypnotherapy sessions and wellness products designed to improve the emotional wellbeing of women. The platform aims to help users feel more confident and equipped to handle everyday pressures.
Clementine has secured £1m in seed funding from Fortunis Capital to support its continued growth and expansion. The capital will enable the wellness platform to introduce new services, including self-help journals and collaborative wellness products.
Founded by Kim Palmer, the company provides virtual hypnotherapy sessions tailored to women. The investment marks a notable milestone for the female-led business within a venture capital landscape where women-founded teams traditionally receive a fraction of available funding.
Fortunis Capital selected the company as part of its Top 20 UK Impact Investment Fund. The funding arrives as demand for digital mental health support has accelerated during the pandemic, particularly among women.
