ClearGlass Analytics provides a digital platform that uncovers hidden asset management costs and brings fee transparency to pension funds. The financial technology company works closely with defined benefit schemes to hold investment managers accountable.

ClearGlass Analytics has secured £2.6m in a seed funding round to support its expansion into the defined contribution pension market and build new value for money assessment tools. The investment was led jointly by Lakestar and Outward VC, with participation from several prominent angel investors from the asset management and pension sectors.

Founded in 2019, the fintech startup operates as a digital data interface between asset managers and institutional clients such as pension funds. The fresh capital will also enable the company to consolidate its initial footprint across Europe and Africa following rapid adoption in the UK defined benefit market.
