Citizen Ticket operates an online ticketing and livestreaming events platform tailored for various sectors including leisure, culture, and corporate conferences. The firm previously introduced blockchain technology to the ticketing sector.
Online ticketing and livestreaming platform Citizen Ticket has raised £750k in a seed follow-on investment round. The capital will be deployed to enhance the firm's livestreaming capabilities and expand its headcount.
The funding arrives as the events industry pivots towards hybrid models following disruption caused by the pandemic. Citizen Ticket developed its livestream product during initial lockdown restrictions to support leisure and corporate occasions.
Looking ahead, the company plans to target global audiences and scale its technology offering. The fresh injection will also support the engineering team led by CTO Colin Palmer as they build further sector-specific solutions.
