CENTURY Tech secures £4.7m in seed follow-on funding to scale its artificial intelligence learning platform globally

London-based CENTURY Tech develops artificial intelligence, neuroscience and learning science tools to personalise education for students and reduce workload for teachers. The platform provides tailored pathways for learners alongside detailed data insights for educators.
London-based artificial intelligence edtech company CENTURY Tech has secured £4.7m in a seed follow-on investment round. The oversubscribed round saw two-thirds of the capital provided by new backers, including Solve Innovation Future. The fresh capital will be deployed to scale the company's AI-powered learning technologies globally and expand backend AI integration services for publishers.
The raise follows a period of rapid growth for the platform, which has seen usage surge by more than 400 percent over the past year. In the same week as the funding announcement, the company was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, with founder and chief executive Priya Lakhani joining global initiatives to address education challenges.
