London-based digital ski coach Carv has raised $5.1m in funding led by Hiro Capital, with participation from Artesian and SOSV. The latest capital brings the total funding secured by the company to $10.9m following a previous Series A extension in early 2021.
The company will use the proceeds to support growth initiatives and drive technological advancement. Plans include hiring senior talent across hardware, software, and data science departments.
Carv combines motion and pressure sensing hardware with software analysis to deliver audio tutoring to skiers. The firm currently operates across the UK, Austria, and China.
